Welcome

The year 2020 has called for new and creative responses to human needs as never before, with the COVID-19 pandemic, quarantining and job/business losses; growing awareness of systemic racism; and record-breaking heat waves, fires, and hurricanes - all this in addition to our personal day-to-day challenges and ongoing societal issues such as homelessness.

I love this sculpture of the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara for several reasons, but especially for its depiction of the many ways our handiwork, words and actions can serve others. Infinite are the number of ways we can support each other individually or collectively.

My wish is for this website to host artwork, news, photos, and reflections that will support the happiness and well-being of others and the growth of a creative community.
